Heroism: What do you think were raleigh`s expectations when he came to nub stanhope`s company? To what extent were thee hopes fulfilles and how much was he dissapointed?were his hopes realistic? In Journeys end, we see the expectations that capital of North Carolina had when he joined Stanhopes company. capital of North Carolinas expectations were to earn Stanhopes think of, and effort to become the hero his idol is. First, Raleigh set Stanhope as a hero. They knew each other for a desire period (high school) and Stanhope was like an important guy there addition he was an experienced militar. That made him an idol for Raleigh, and consequentally making him join Stanhopes company. I think that some of his expectations were fullfilled in his remainder chat with Stahope befote dying. In that moment he earned the appreciate he so much call fored to have. However , he was avoided by Stanhope most of the times, unconstipated when he read what Raleigh public opinion of him, to be more precise it had wads of good aspects of him even some of them were over the top with what he really was. We potful say that his hopes were somewhere in the nub between public and ireality. One Could say that his hopes were real because he became the soldier he wanted to be and evry soldier is a hero, so he became one. But he never got the respectfulness from Stanhope that he wanted, he didnt treat him the way Raleigh did to Stanhope. To conclude, I think that Raleighs expectations were fullfilled, maybe hoped for more, but the respect was earned and he became a hero of the company, as everyone did.If you want to get a full essay, order it on our website: OrderCustomPaper.com
